The Mesa issue seems to be still there after my implementation of Marc-André's patch. As usual, it is particularly visible on one specific YouTube video, the clip for "True" from Amaranthe:
Trying to dig deeper into why the patch should fix things. The problem on the video appears with the lateral scrolling at the beginning. There is a lot of shearing in this.
Network issue
Yet another network issue. This time, it was the cable between the first and second level of the house. What is annoying is that I restored the connection simply by moving the cable a bit. So there may be some fragility in it. This is really a "backbone" cable for the house. Unfortunately, it's also one of the few cables that I built in the walls, and we recently re-painted the living room, so I'm not really fond of the idea to have to dig that cable out...
