Tools

Some prefer fixed-width fonts everywhere in their tools. I don't. Here is an example from Red Hat Bugzilla 1435567. In Bugzilla, it looks like this:

By contrast, in Redmine, you can have something like that ( from Redmine issue #26065):

I know that I strongly prefer the latter.

Hard disk recovered

It turns out that the yellow blinking light in my Terra-Master disk array was not indicative of a disk failure, but rather than there was some checksum error and it was reconstructing. The light is green now. Cool.

This is the work blog of Christophe de Dinechin for Red Hat. Think of it as a public lab book.

This should not be particularly interesting except to myself. It's really more intended as a set of personal notes, so there is no formatting whatsoever. I type tings as I go along during the day.
